INVOLVEMENT OF GMT, VERSION 3.0 AND NEW HOMEPAGES: The project of NonTonalAnalysis is now carried on by the GMT, Group for researches in Musicology and applied Technology, an international association of musicologists, programmers and composers. We are presently developing the version 3.0 of NonTonalAnalysis, that will include full midi support, saving and reading data, a lot of new and very important analysis capabilities of new musical parameters, new calibrated default values, and a completely new user interface. NonTonal Analysis has now two places on the Web that should be regarded as its homepages. (N.B.: They are different sites with different contents!)
The first is the site of the GMT:
http://www.liaa.ch.ufpb.br/~gmt/
The second one is the site of one of the authors:
http://space.tin.it/musica/ggrossko/softw.htm
You are invited to visit us! These sites will host any news regarding the program, and also information regarding links, authors, developments, new approaches, discussion topics, discussion page, e-mails and registration services. Please send an e-mail to the authors if you have any problem regarding these web pages. (The address of one of the authors is: ggrossk@tin.it).

New messages are welcome. We check this page regularly.
We always like to keep in contact with other musicians, especially when we share the same interests: recently we have had contacts about this subject with musicians all around the world, and we'd like to form a sort of 'international community' of musicians interested to the problems of harmony in modern and contemporary classical music.
